According to Box Office India, “Pathaan hit another milestone over the weekend as it became the first film in history to hit the 100 crore nett mark in Delhi / UP and collections may well close over the 110 crore nett mark. The final numbers may see an underperformance in other mass pockets like Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat but UP is outstanding and its a long time since a film has done this well in UP. Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the cinemas after a hiatus of four years has been received well not only in India, but worldwide too! Pathaan registered yet another strong day at the box office on its first Saturday in the theatres. The film has crossed the Rs 400-crore mark worldwide. Meanwhile, it entered the Rs 200-crore mark in India. Pathaan continues breaking records!
PATHAAN ENTERS RS 400-CRORE CLUB WORLDWIDE

Pathaan, that released on January 25, is running a riot at the box office. Also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, the film took a bumper opening at the box office! On Day 4, January 28, Pathaan sailed past the Rs 400-crore mark at the global box office! Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, “#Pathaan crosses Rs 400 Crs gross at the WW Box office in 4 days (sic).” Till Friday, January 27, Pathaan had earned Rs 166 crore in India and Rs 316 crore gross worldwide. According to early estimates, the film is expected to have put in more than $6 million (Rs 49 crore) overseas, which means its worldwide total is above Rs 420 crore.

The overall jump in occupancy was around 35 per cent on Saturday. This is expected to go up further on Sunday, January 29. It’s the third time since Pathaan’s release that the film has collected over Rs 50 crore in a single day. On Sunday, Pathaan is expected to cross the highest-grossing Shah Rukh Khan film by going past the collections of Chennai Express.

Meanwhile, Box Office India reported, “Pathaan is looking at collections of around 52 crore nett in Hindi as it hits another 50 crore nett which will be the third since release and only Friday missing out. It also crossed the 200 crore nett mark in just four days with 212 crore nett up on the board. The jump on day four is going to be around the 40% mark with even better jumps for the biggest multiplexes in the big cities. The film will go up further on Sunday as mass centres go back up in a big way. It will be no surprise if some circuits hit the numbers of the Thursday again on Sunday. Actually it will be no surprise if all India hits the Thursday total even though it maybe asking for a lot but till date it has always exceeded expectations.”
