The Hindi version of SS Rajamouli’s RRR starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan entered the prestigious Rs 200 crore club. RRR is the second film to surpass Rs 200 crore-mark in the post-pandemic era.

Director SS Rajamouli’s RRR is a raging hit across the globe. The Hindi version of RRR is performing exceptionally well. On April 6, the Hindi version of RRR crossed the Rs 200 crore-mark in India and is still going strong. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, RRR is the second film to achieve this milestone in the post-pandemic era. Earlier, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise minted over Rs 100 crore in the North belt.
RRR HINDI CROSSES RS 200 CRORE IN INDIA
RRR is a war drama featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles. The film hit the theatres on March 25 in multiple languages. RRR registered a thunderous opening at the box office by collecting Rs 257 crore worldwide.
In just 13 days, the Hindi version of RRR surpassed the Rs 200 crore-mark in India and achieved a new milestone. This is the second film to achieve this feat in the post-pandemic era.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter and wrote, “#RRR Hindi has crossed Rs 200 Cr Nett at the All-India Box office.
JR NTR HINTS AT RRR SEQUEL
In an interview to Variety, Jr NTR revealed that he expected RRR to be a blockbuster. He also added that he is happy to be part of the ‘RRR franchise.’ The Aravinda Sametha actor hinted at a possible sequel to RRR.
Jr NTR said, “I’ve used the word franchise thinking, hoping that there would be another world of ‘RRR’ again. Sometimes you just hope and you say a few words hoping it would happen, it will happen. It’s just a way of positive thinking, wanting for more.”
Director SS Rajamouli’s RRR is a war drama made on a mammoth budget of Rs 450 crore. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, Olivia Morris and Shriya Saran play key roles in the war drama.
