Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif’s Sooryavanshi gets U/A certificate, cleared by CBFC without cuts

Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, has been cleared by the Censor Board. The film for U/A certificate.

Sooryavanshi has been cleared by the Central Bureau of Film Certification (CBFC). The makers had submitted the film at the CBFC for clearance. A U/A (Unrestricted Public Exhibition – But With Parental Guidance) certificate was given to the film on October 18 with no cuts. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
SOORYAVANSHI CLEARED BY CBFC

Recently, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh invited fans to theatres to watch Sooryavanshi through a video. Today, October 18, the Central Bureau of Film Certification (CBFC) gave a U/A certificate to Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. According to reports, the trailer was cleared without any cuts. The Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif-starrer was given the certificate by the Censor Board on October 18.

After Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray declared that the state’s cinema halls will reopen from October 22, Akshay Kumar announced that his film, Sooryavanshi, will hit the theatres on Diwali. Sharing a photo with director Rohit Shetty and his co-actors Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn, Akshay wrote on Instagram, “So many families would be thanking Sh Uddhav Thackeray today! Grateful for allowing the reopening of cinema halls in Maharashtra from Oct 22.
